Ok, what do you think CNN's Jeff Zucker REALLY did?

I don't think kiddie diddling worries them anymore than an affair does. No, someone higher up on the food chain was pissed at the lack of reach and loss of money.

Their mission is to reach as many as humanly possible with their narrative, and people were turned off and tuning out, in massive numbers, and secondarily to that, they were losing loads of advertiser dollars and other revenue as sponsors and loyal contributors abandoned them. Even looking at associated businesses so they took an even bigger hit.

This was about money and influence. Both were lacking.

they are being mocked as a joke by most folks. Zucker was turning their narrative into a comedy sitcom. They didn't like that.
