Interesting. I won't consider these people ignorant then. I guess it was me being ignorant of southern culture. I had no idea. I wish the ladies at that doctors office would have told me it was a "southern thing"...then I would have known & understood. They just looked at me like I was some sort of anger junkie...even tho all I said was that it was an incorrect way of referring to someone. Oh well, live and learn.
