Will this prevent my beans from going up in price 10 cents every 3 weeks? [link to www.barrons.com (secure)] :kidneybeans: Nope, got to absorb that minimum wage increase all the no talent no ambition shmucks got first. By the way, congratulations to all you people who formerly paid no federal income tax who now find yourselves making taxable income. |

The bond market has even gone this way since november. Big money is getting out of long term bonds and instead focusing on short term bonds. Blackrock will sell their real estate assets once they get margin called for being over leveraged causing a housing crash too so that'll be fun. Interesting times ahead. |

If the fed reserve survives at all, I would expect an economic collapse to be inevitable. Since the goal will be to pump the last nickle out of us it should get really interesting. |

Now they killed it only an idiot would give them another chance. |

There will be pressure to back off though as the debt service increases. Anonymous Coward User ID: 75965426 Canada 02/20/2022 07:39 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Correct. Normally the market would correct but you have 1) Chinese investors buying up everything 2) BlackRock buying everything sight unseen and 3) speculators with unlimited capital. All this will do is crush everyday homeowners with rapidly increasing property taxes. Are you still happy that your home "increased" in value by $150k? Don't be... |

The fallacy that rate increases can clamp rampant inflation is garbage. Inflation ^ Biden to raise taxes^ Interest rates^ Consumers will be on GOV life support and the spiral continues at a faster rate until collapse. |
