There are many of us in the same boat. Not old enough to retire but old enough to be looked over. I also rode this past year out on savings and they have dried up. One person got back to me to say 'job has been filled'. Other than that...silence. I keep asking God/Jesus for help, for guidance, for a miracle. More silence. I have 8 dollars in the bank. About to go spend 4 of it on a powerball ticket. I don't know what else to do. I'm a good worker and a hard worker but I can no longer find my rightful place in this society. Now I see society for what it truly is and I guess I don't even want a place in it.
