China has numbers...but most of their troops don't even have basic body armor.

Ranking any country is difficult at the top They all have extremely different tactics, weaponry etc.

I doesn't necessarily destroy the convoy but it takes out several armaments that close together and the rest leave the vehicles looking for cover. It creates a panic and most of these Russia conscripts have never seen battle. Half of them probably run away literally.

Then you have split the convoy and caused a break up in communication. Making the remainder of the group susceptible to NLAWS on the ground waiting down the road.

They have drones.

You don't necessarily need body armor if you have good logistics and plenty of men.

All they need to do is hit the first few dozen vehicles and all the ones behind are blocked. Then those military vehicles turn into ducks.

Ukraine military obviously knows these are there…. And are not going to just let them waltz in.

In fact the gear I have seen the Russians wearing seems to be more of a hindrance than beneficial. Every one of them has a bunch of loose poorly fitted assault vests on that would get snagged on just about everything and their armor looks like it weight about 40 pounds. I don't think they expected to have to leave a vehicle.
