I have been vegetarian for the last 40 years. What was the turning point? Living in Asia for two years and hearing the pigs screaming every morning before and as they were slaughtered. Other reasons also: the huge amounts of food / water needed to raise animals. The fact that pigs contain hog and human DNA. The suspicion that human meat has entered the food chain, and is in animal fodder. The very long digestion process (and the antibiotics and I don't know what other "medicines" animals may have been fed) which burdens the body. I don't drink milk either. Milk is for babies. by the way. I am extremely healthy and have not been ill for years. Thank you for the thread, RED DOT. I just met someone of GLP that chose to not eat animal flesh at the age of 2 years. Fucking blew my mind.
As a vegan, vegetarian, can you please share your story / history on how you became vegan, vegetarian?
Also can you share your reasoning, logic, feelings to continue your eating habits?
