well the Hippies were "color blind" and the first generation to try inter-racial marriages (big taboo) being an Army brat where racism was not tolerated gave me a different perspective of race relations ... my mantra is "do unto others as you would have them do unto you" and it has served me well ... a "uni-sex" multi-racial concept

Revolution sounds better than "reset" IMO - but we definitely need a change - to free ourselves from the psychopaths who want us all dead ...

PS I took your advice and didn't watch the chimpanzee vid

Re: On this day , March 3rd was the first political protest in DC - 1913
I went on a search for the US Convoy, because I think it is relevant to this topic - about historic protest in DC - which I believe this convoy will produce ....

I read that some of them Arrived (early) last week, and I wanted to know if they made it inside the Beltway ... but all I could find, was some links to "truckers' convoy canceled due to lack of interest" - I kid you NOT .... that's what Bing had to offer - after they canceled my DuckDuckGO search engine - with their latest "update" .... then I listen to Owin on IW and he is interviewing a trucker IN HIS TRUCK on the way to DC LOL but the feed is cut off when his guest comes on

they really don't want us to know what is happening - they expect us to believe, that all the protesters went home

so, I went to the GLP search and put in convoy usa and blam! up pops the latest (today) news (a page full of threads) ... showing not hundreds of people encouraging the truckers, but THOUSANDS standing for miles on the roadside waving flags - and signs ... and over head shots of miles of trucks in both lanes heading East ... Thread: Where Are They Now? - The People's Convoy/Convoy USA (Page 4)

and a shot of the helicopter flying a huge American Flags - following the convoy (that the MSN said was canceled)

this is why we are here - in glp, in the most exciting times in THE WORLD ... so we don't miss a moment of it - because it it's LIVE ... meanwhile - they are banning all communication from Russia ... they want us to believe Putin surrendered LOL

My mom used to take me to anti-war demonstration when I was a kid during Nam.

Dad said to her that she would be put on a list.

LOL

At one I remember Nixon's helicopter couldn't land because of all the protesters.

They were opening a new high school named after Eisenhower.

It was the The Women's Sufferage March in DC

Interesting that Congress granted the women permission to march, but their police escort vanished soon after the parade began and the angry crowd watching - injured 200 (bad enough to send them to the Hospital) of the almost 10 thousand women who marched becoming the first political protesters to march in DC

The parade's purpose, stated in its official program, was to "march in a spirit of protest against the present political organization of society, from which women are excluded."

Woodrow Wilson (D) refused to acknowledge them for another four years - during WWI (declared 28 July 1914 and ended on 11 November 1918) which he stated demanded his attention - and Women didn't get a Constitutional amendment for the right to vote until 1920 and they weren't protected by law (nationally) until 1965. But congress did hold an investigation to determine why they were abandoned by the Police (no mention of anyone being held accountable)

Today 109 years later - we have Truckers pouring into DC to protest unconstitutional covid mandates that have destroyed our Nation's economy - with the shadow of WWIII looming

You would have been really surprised that the majority of women did not want the vote back then, also some of the freaking women were men dressed as women, it was insane. It is the same with abortions the major of women did not want this, just the women groups, and they were hired to cause trouble. I saw what they caused to families of every group including black families, and also the so-called help they gave them, social help with checks as long as the men were not in the families. This was Johnson's idea so the blacks would vote for democrat for more than a hundred years. He forgot to tell them it would destroy the black family business and it did this in less than two generations. I also watched this happen in my area, yes, I lived long enough to watch them dismantle the families in a large group of the US.
Sorry I got a headache

These are the times that tries men's and
women's souls!

May we come though it victorious!

I am not a "feminist" but I believe all people should have the rights that women had to fight for - for centuries - and are still denied in many countries - equality

Women's rights
From Wikipedia,
Women's rights are the rights and entitlements claimed for women and girls worldwide. They formed the basis for the women's rights movement in the 19th century and the feminist movements during the 20th and 21st centuries. In some countries, these rights are institutionalized or supported by law, local custom, and behavior, whereas in others, they are ignored and suppressed. They differ from broader notions of human rights through claims of an inherent historical and traditional bias against the exercise of rights by women and girls, in favor of men and boys.[1]

Issues commonly associated with notions of women's rights include the right to bodily integrity and autonomy, to be free from sexual violence, to vote, to hold public office, to enter into legal contracts, to have equal rights in family law, to work, to fair wages or equal pay, to have reproductive rights, to own property, and to education.[2]

Equality or Equal is the main message (parable) of Eve from Adam's rib. This implies that she is to be by his side as equal. NOT the false narrative that she was somehow created from a rib.
Several Egyptian statues reveal this same message as it's an old message. One forgotten by more modern male-dominated and corrupted societies.

King Menkaure and his Queen, her hand on his rib and bicep.

I think the Veterans' protests were the next big protests in DC after WWI.

They had it worse.

They were mowed down like grass after a while.

Brutal.

yes, I watched the whole thing unfold - from Eisenhower, who warned us about "alien technology" to Obama, their Manchurian Candidate - they never hid what they were doing, they compartmentalized it into easily managed groups

First political protest? I don't think so.

What were the anti war/draft protests during the civil war?
