Amazon WAREHOUSE ROBOTS try to trap human co-worker
An Amazon worker employed at one of the company's enormous warehouses filmed the moment he became trapped by automatic robots that line the floor of the cavernous building.

The worker, who had been retrieving a couple of items for a customer, suddenly realized his pathway back out had been blocked by huge movable yellow shelving.

Re: Amazon WAREHOUSE ROBOTS try to trap human co-worker
Reminds me of the Black Mirror show.

Luckily these things don't look too mobile like the robo dog but still....Those are out there too!

I found myself wondering how easy those things would be to tip over. tall things like that can tip easily with a little encouragement.

Also reminds me of that show with the large ball that followed the guy around and trapped him... on the tip of my tongue... Patrick something?

Predictive programming goes waaaaay back i guess.

gave ya 5 stars and this new bump. bump

Just for the creep factor alone.

I expect to see more of this.

Unless someone programmed the shelves to do this... this implies some thought on the part of the shelves. How conscious is AI?

I'm pretty sure the wheels lock into place when they stop.

Enjoyed the video.
I had no idea this is how some things work.
The man seemed pretty calm as if it had happened before.

Thanks for sharing.
