In 10 years all those states will look just like California and then they will probably move on to the remaining few. A lot of people seem to think they are going to change their ways and their politics. I highly doubt it, but I am cynic.

You must understand that moving is always a big expense. No one will ever transport your furniture and other belongings for free, even if it's your loving uncle. He also needs to pay for fuel, you know. When I moved to Europe, I immediately knew that I needed to save up more money for the move. I transported not only my antique furniture, which I inherited from my parents, but also my motorcycle, bicycles, and car. Of course, it was easier for me to move than for others because I was traveling under the resettlement program to Belgium. You can [link to loparemovals.com (secure)] about this if you want. Moved from Idaho to Missouri last fall, two semi trailers full. ABF U-PACK was the best deal by far, they bring the trailers drop them off you get 5 days or so to load then they deliver to your chosen address. They even stored one of them while we unloaded the first into storage.

When I moved from Florida to Colorado in 2019 it was about 1000$ I think, maybe a little more but not more than 1500.
I was so surprised finding out recently what it is now. Basically I just sold and donated all my furniture besides what wasn't worth selling like my bed. Got a uhual trailer for 500$, I have a truck so I can do that.
