I do believe the cyber threat is valid, and the right cyber attack, if successful, could take more lives than a nuke.

The Bear is getting poked hard by much of the globe. I am concerned he will get to a point that since he has received the punishment, what the hell, go ahead and commit the crime.

What I find interesting, in a scary way, is that The Dragon has begun to emit some growls.

LJS touched on a lot of the things that have been concerning me over the past 24 hours.

Things are stalled in Ukraine. Both sides are playing the script for unconventional warfare.

Russia lashed out because they felt cornered, among other reasons, and now they're backed into a corner even more so.

The sanctions have forced their stock market to be closed for nearly 2 weeks now- could you imagine if that was Wall Street?

Diplomatic and trade relations are a burning dumpster fire with no path to normalization either way this pans out.

I think the shift to a new phase of warfare is inevitable. Right now both sides are in checkmate but it's not one where that status can be maintained inevitably- we're already too far down the road for that.

In order to get back to equilibrium the stalemate has to be broken otherwise both sides will be bled out. The options to do that are increasingly limited and unconventional means are becoming increasingly more attractive.

This was never really about Ukraine and the steps that have been made have taken things past Ukraine being used as a proxy.

There are many different ways this could go, but all of them are pretty drastic and none of them are rosey at all.

Big Pardon: yesterday I wished so much to see the performance but the traffic of my mobile inet was finished last tonight and I had to cancel the starting of nuclear war.
