Those who say we are immune or protected just need to look at US actions now -- we are not getting overtly involved because we know that it will result in a nuclear exchange. Russia pretty much said they will go nuke.
They have around 5000 nuclear warheads- and so do we.
ICBMs, SLBMs, bombers, cruise missiles and tactical will make for a bad day.
