Trump's cultish support (thanks to Q) is not something you can buy or really create. It would be wise for DeSantis to let Trump run in 2024 unopposed so we can get this over with once and for all. Either Trump wins and we at least slow down the collapse or Trump loses and by 2028 his cultish supporters have moved on (hopefully).

Even if Trump loses in 2024 he won't run in 2028 so it opens the door for DeSantis anyway. As well if Trump wins in 2024 he can't run in 2028 anyway.

I believe Stone saying this is Trump's way of telling DeSantis it ain't worth stepping in his way.

Besides at the rate things are going DeSantis has perfectly positioned himself to be President of the New Republic. Perhaps DeSantis should recognize he might have more power as Governor of Florida than he would as President of the collapsing United States.

I absolutely do. Trump is a disaster. I agree with most of his policies, energy independence, secure borders, lower taxes, but he has no filter between his brain and his mouth. He doesn't speak in complete sentences, he doesn't think through how people will react to his words. He is his own worst enemy.
