It's made by corporations that participate in the depopulation agenda. It's basically dog food, and the meat in it is that fake, formed pink slime goo thats scraped off the killing floor and pumped full of ammonia to kill the germs. Just make a pot of stew. You can make 12 servings or more for 10 bucks. A large number of the population don't know how, and don't want to learn to cook. It is called lazy, stupid and broke. |

Quoting: Grove Street (Redux 3.0) you can easily live off of it. in fact 15 years ago i did that for 6 months and got in great shape on that sort of regiment 1 can of soup = 180-360 calories A couple apples = 200 calories Few shots of whisky = 180 calories Definitely not 2000 calories unless your "few shots" is really a 750ml bottle. |

Quoting: OnTheFence My local giant has it on sale every other week 3 can for 5$.....4 cans for 5$ for the store brand version which for Giant and Weis are both better then the Chunky versions. |

Add a teaspoon of peanut butter for more protein and a little fat. (Sounds weird but it's really tasty.) Far more filling & nutritious than processed soup, especially if you can find any distressed/marked down fruit to add in. |

First time I've done fast food in over a year, had no choice. I think the last time I got that same meal at McDonald's it was around $4! Unjabbed - Take Dayquil or Nyquil if you get the flu |

And yes, it's a lot cheaper that way, though you'll have to learn how to freeze leftovers if you don't have a big family. Not everybody can do that, knows how to cook, or even has the equipment/energy options to cook from scratch. Why is it that as Americans, instead of protesting inflation on gross canned soup we're arguing about how our fellow Americans should just suck it up and live on rice and suck on a cold potato or something? This isn't DR Congo land, where we should be grateful for dirtcakes. We're being FUCKED. Unjabbed - Take Dayquil or Nyquil if you get the flu |

Top with 1/2 small can of tomato sauce. (Add S&P, oregano) Top with grated cheese, preferably mozzarella. Repeat layers. Cook (bake) 5 to 7 min. Not exactly lasagne but surprisingly good say taste testers. |

User ID: 83054467 United States 05/13/2022 06:47 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I remember years ago, maybe 15 years ago, there was a debate about a Campbell's commercial that came out showing the "American family" pouring a canned soup over white rice and making it their dinner. As the older die off and the younger don't know, the ones that were old enough to remember how we used to eat in this country spoke up. When did pouring a can of soup over rice become an acceptable norm for dinner? That's not how it was done in the 50's and 60's. We used to eat so much better. But young people don't know and can't gauge how far and fast our quality of life is tanking. Now, people are like suck it up, add water to that can of soup! We shouldn't have to do that, that's the point. Unjabbed - Take Dayquil or Nyquil if you get the flu |

Go get some beef shanks, should be uber cheap, or just anything super cheap that's beef. Buy a potato and onion, you can also add carrots and celery and parsley if you have the money. Brown the beef, add the onion cook until translucent, then add water, cook down for long time until falls apart, then add vegetables right before falls apart. That's it. You have something WAY healthier and probably way cheaper than chunky soup. Plus should taste WAY better. You can freeze extras. |

Yeah, that's another thing, you can make a pot of rice, one cup rice per two cups of water, and that will stretch this meal even further to pour over rice. |
