Trump do anything to help stop the attacks on ethnic Russians in Donbas by Ukraine while he was in office? Just wondering because it seems that a major reason Pres. Putin is in the Ukraine now is because of the long running genocide of eastern Ukrainians of Russian decent. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 82034090 Trump was essentially powerless to stop what was happening in Ukraine. Remember they impeached him for simply DELAYING an arms shipment to Ukraine. Do you think he could have cancelled them? The President of the United States is only the second most powerful person in Washington, DC. Chuck Schumer warned Trump in the first month of his administration about who the Top Dog was in Washington, DC. Not even the Senate Majority leader will mess with them: Schumer Warns Trump: Intel Community Has Many Ways to 'Get Back at You' Trump acted too late. Had Trump gotten a second term, the CIA would have been neutered: Trump Implements Kennedy’s NSAM 57 to Cut CIA Out of Power [link to americanpatriotcontacttracers.com] This was the press conference that no one watched and was probably the most significant in the last 60 years. And we would not be in this mess with Ukraine had NSAM 57 been implemented. Were you one of the 7000 to watch this? Acting Secretary of Defense Christopher Miller announces implementation of NSAM 57 Kennedy had the same problem with the CIA and suffered a much worse fate. KENNEDY As Paris officials knew, the new American president already had something of a prickly relationship with de Gaulle, but he had strong feelings for France — and they made sure to absolve JFK of personal responsibility for the coup in their leaks to the press. French press accounts referred to the CIA as a “reactionary state within a state” that operated outside of Kennedy’s control. JFK took pains to assure Paris that he strongly supported de Gaulle’s presidency, phoning Hervé Alphand, the French ambassador in Washington, to directly communicate these assurances. But, according to Alphand, Kennedy’s disavowal of official US involvement in the coup came with a disturbing addendum — the American president could not vouch for his own intelligence agency. Kennedy told Alphand that “the CIA is such a vast and poorly controlled machine that the most unlikely maneuvers might be true.” [link to whowhatwhy.org (secure)] It is all out there in plain sight: CIA-trained Ukrainian paramilitaries may take central role if Russia invades [link to news.yahoo.com (secure)] They are not even trying to hide it ...because they know that 90% of Americans can't even name the 9 members of the Supreme Court; so what chance will they ever have to understand this?
