The dominance of the West was built off Naval supremacy and now it is gone. That is one of the reasons the West dare not use navy in the Persian Gulf to bomb Iran. Iran's Russian ground to ground missile systems would wipe out any ships in the Gulf.

Russia's S series missiles are not hypersonic and can still avoid radar detection. They are also surface to surface, surface to air and are moveable.

If you don't believe me you can go watch a video of the US firing guided artillery rounds, it's basically the same thing.
Also the Russian missile fires from a jet, the arc of this round is coming from the ground if it was fired from a jet the arc would be the opposite direction.

You cannot track something going mach 10 that close to the ground with the human eyes let alone a cellphone.
It would be like trying to track something going 25x faster than a bullet under 10 thousand feet. It just isn't happening. And it's probably not even 10 thousand feet, i'm sure if someone actually bothered to do some calculations from the arc of the vapor trail they could get the aprox height.
