OP,
regarding the genetic defects: I had gene testing done, was told I was "missing" certain genes, causing an inability to utilize some nutrients, specifically Vitamin A was mentioned. unfortunately the counselor did not elaborate further.
I did not receive the results of my DNA/Gene testing, but am going to request a copy.

As an infant I had to have goats milk, and have had lifetime rashes, diagnosed as psoriasis then excema. I also had repeated boils.
No one else in my family has/had any such problems, 2 sisters, 2 kids & the love of my life GrandSon.

Over the years I have had flare ups (major) ,, alternating with being asymptomatic.
this was many years ago. Several years ago flare ups became life altering, then somewhat eased. this was when I began my study of Candida supplements and diet.

FYI - I began NAC during one of my major flare ups that just (poof) stopped. I read some (disinformation) about NAC and stopped taking it, same with MSM.

Question: regarding my periods of respite, do you have any research on this fungus going dormant ? over a lifetime (70 years).
and,
can anything be done to correct or work on the genetic defects ? in addition to your protocol. ?

FYI - I am close to being asymptomatic. Not quite there yet.

Thank You for your research on this and your extreme patients.

Op here.

Great questions as usual. The gene testing results would be beneficial. I could have one of my colleagues who specializes in this connect the dots for you.

As far as the fungus going dormant, it usually responds to immune events. It is dimorphic, so it changes its form and begins filamentation when the opportunity arises. It may have appeared dormant when it remained in it's single celled planktonic form (yeast) but rarely becomes dormant unless under heavy attack. In that situation, it will remain dormant using the protection of biofilms.

As far as the genetic defects are concerned, we are working on that. Using a specific ionization technique on g-quadruplexes appears to be working. In plain English, this quad stacked DNA has some very special abilities in gene transcription that can be exploited.

Once you fully clear this out, adding the nad+ booster will certainly help. Long term chronic candida infection is connected with impaired mitochondrial activity.

The answers are coming. I can't say too much, but studies will be released and hit the peer review cycle in the coming months. It will certainly put a target on our back, so anonymity is important for now.

OP,
in regards to die off, and mitochondrial function, would Glutathione be beneficial ?
It is included in the IV Treatments I get. and I do have it in spray form for sublingual.

Thank You.

sucking off the op isnt gonna cure ur dingus infection, slunt

IV administered is effective. The sublingual may not be as effective as NAC (It's a precursor).

For mitochondrial function, NAD+ (Nicotinimide Riboside) is an effective method which is included in the maintenance protocol. I'll paste that section below.

Maintenance Protocol

Morning

600mg NAC
100-300mg NAD+ (Nicotinimide Riboside)
Black Seed Oil

Night

Black Seed Oil

For the first month of maintenance, supplement with resveratrol to boost NAD uptake.
