I don't know the cause but have had symptoms since childhood. Recently I came to understand that Keratosis pilaris is associated with chronic high insulin levels so that solved a long standing mystery.

I don't know the cause- if it is genetic or due to health problems of my mother - she took fluoride pills throughout pregnancy and I was never breast fed. and she had thyroid problems as a teen. and I was 6 weeks late birth. any insights appreciated. thx
