I used to laugh at this subject years ago and think people were nuts for believing in things like this.

But about 8 years ago one beautiful cloudless sky as far as my eye could see in all directions out in the country,I looked up to see well overhead 2 jets in the same airspace one following just back and below the other I thought it weird to have those aircraft so close to each other,like two cars driving on a empty highway nose to tail.

I went inside for 20 or so minutes and went back outside for a smoke and half the shy was Totally grey with clouds where I had seen those planes and within hours every inch of the sky was like that and stayed like that .

I have heard every crap explanation for that from its the new engines doing it yada yada.

Now I see this happen often a beautiful day in the country with a tiny airport that gets about 10 small jets a day if lucky turn grey and stay like that when planes fly over maybe we should highly restrict airtravel .

As clouds do not form that quickly on beautiful days ,but I did see a study years ago that stated 50+ % less sunlight is hitting the ground than in the 1950s .

Maybe it has something to do with the changing colour of our sun since I was young because I burn now after a few hours outside when it is not what I call roasting yet years ago I was outside working for days or weeks to get a red tan like that just my humble opinion from a country boy
