I did study anatomy. There was no protection of the Kidney by the ribs, this is why they wore protective pads in this area with some sports. By the way, mine is still this way.

I would have believed this except for reading doctors and nurses talking about this and the fear it induced in them, can you imagine making mistakes because you now have to take an X-Ray to see where their origins are?
