It's dead alright, but not due to sound issues...

By removing anything remotely controversial, the content is full of garbage for the most part. Yes, there is some great content remaining. Not to mention the freaking ads! Had they just left it all alone and did not over-censor everyone, I may have considered paying a subscription.

The selection algo is rather annoying at times as well. Just because I spoke of, or searched for something earlier does not mean I am any longer interested in the subject for days or weeks on end. Also, if I say I'm not interested in something, like seeing multi million dollar mansions or Russ Brand, don't present more of those videos to me. Duh!

It has sound for me.

BUT, I have had that happen to me before. Check to make sure your sound playback device is one with speakers, that you don't have anything muted, or the sound turned off?

You didn't even have to do it, for it to have been changed on your machine, so checking can't hurt.
