Neurocognitive decline.

Fascinating. I wonder if this is wide spread or is it just a small sample size of people who are aging?

Can anyone of a younger generation who is experiencing this chime in?

Re: Anyone forgetting words?
Yes. The term for this is difficulty with "word finding".

Not vaxxed.
No meds.
I don't drink.

Have you noticed it lately? As in...the last few months?

Yeah, past 6-8 weeks or so. Coincides with the rollout of 5g in my area. I didn't think we'd have 5g out in our rural area, but lo and behold, here we are.

I have wondered if it's the 5G. Even in our rural area the towers reach for miles with no repeaters. I thought that wasn't supposed to be the case. This seemed to coincide with the towers being kicked on. It really pisses me off. It seems to be the last 2 months..like you said.

Re: Anyone forgetting words?
I first noticed it late last year and had it a couple of months. It's since cleared itself up quite a bit.

I think it's more from the isolation and not having regular conversations with people like we did pre-covid. I bet some of us haven't spoken to a real person in 2 years. A bit of an exaggeration maybe, but in some cases, I'm sure not by much.

Re: Anyone forgetting words?
Part of the reason for posting about this was to get people to pay attention and see if they just hadn't noticed it. It has happened enough lately for me to notice.

It might be one of those things that most people brush off and say they're getting old. I think it's more than that.

Yeah, come to think of it, I haven't been able to do more than one thing in a row lately, I always forget the second and third before I get to it.

Too much GLP is all.

Mental battle fatigue could be all it is. Too much mental energy to get through the tangled web of lies we encounter on a daily basis. It is exhausting.
