im so simple the first thing i was looking at was the guns.. when i really want to do it my self

so could you advice a lock and a set maybe, pleaseeeeeeeee?

So for picks, this set seems pretty nice, different turning tools and some rakes as well and fairly priced:

As for practise locks, the lock i got seems like a really good value for money since you can repin it whatever you like. Those transparant locks are bs and most of them open by setting only 2 pins(found out the hard way by buying that crap) better options if you are on a budget are like i said locks they sell at Action or Gamma/praxis(those 2,50-10€ bins sometimes have nice ones) but you might actually progress faster then you think so at the very least get a tool set and just try to tackle any locks you have laying around

whoa. thats cool. im not on a budget but i thought the transparent would be cool for learning. but if you tell me to straight up start on real locks...that sounds like more fun :D

Hope you had a good day!

Yeah was a nice relaxing and sunny day. Kicking back with some beer and ganja atm browsing glp gehehe

The thing is, the transparant lock is equal to watching this for example:

Once you understand how it works, you dont need a visual. You need to develop a feeling. Using those locks make you focus on seeing rather then feeling and most of them are garbage. You would only have fun with it for 5 mins, no joke.
Also you want to look into diffetent techniques.
One you want to learn is single pin picking for reliability. Raking is also fun and works on wafer locks and cheap low tolerance locks. Much to discover and learn! I still need to pick up a few new techniques and locks in the future. And i saw a nice tubular lockpick tool which is kinda cool so plenty to do once im done with this lock ..

Depending on how skilled you think they might be, those practice sets are great gifts indeed.
I saw that YT too, he nails it very well and the games too. Not perfrct but once you feel how it works, youll see that the fallout one aint that bad either despite poor visual representation.
