"You have lost touch with reality": Italian journalist who visited Mariupol addressed his government
The man also criticized the West for imposing sanctions against Russia, pointing out their absurdity.

Italian journalist Giorgio Bianchi wrote an appeal to Italian President Sergio Mattarella amid the events in Ukraine. The man was in Mariupol, where he saw with his own eyes the horror that was happening in the streets of the half-destroyed city.

In addition, Bianchi called the situation in Italy "grotesque. According to the journalist, the country is "arguing about the fourth or fifth dose of the vaccine (for the coronavirus - Ed. note), if it is better to do it now or in the fall, at a time when we are on the verge of World War III.

"I believe we have never had civilization. We can never defeat these people because we are nothing anymore," the journalist stressed in an address to the Italian president.

Giorgio Bianchi also accused those who talk from their TV screens about morality and that Russian President Vladimir Putin is a "criminal."

"These days are the anniversary of the destruction of Belgrade by Deputy Prime Minister Mattarella, the Communist Prime Minister D'Alema. If Putin is a criminal, then Bush father and son, Obama, Blair, Clinton, Mattarella are criminals," the journalist noted.

Giorgio Bianchi in his address criticized the actions of the West for imposing sanctions against Russia against the background of military special operations, sometimes very absurd.

"This is a crazy world where you have lost touch with reality. You are fighting a bullshit war against tanks and bombs, Russia is not going backwards. She is not losing, she is winning," the journalist stressed.

During a trip to Ukrainian Mariupol, the man said, he was able to talk to local residents who complained about having to stay in the basement, being shelled by neo-Nazi battalions.

"They were emptying the apartments to get people downstairs, when they themselves stayed in the apartments to shoot. These are neo-Nazi battalions. I went into their former bases, where I saw swastikas, books about the SS, books about Mussolini," emphasizes the journalist in the address.

Speaking of Ukraine, Bianchi noted that it was "a state that ceased to be democratic in 2014 as a result of a neo-Nazi coup. The journalist also blamed the country's current president, stressing that there is no truth in his words and promises.

"Russia has no problems, it can take its time. It has grain, wheat, raw materials, oil, gas, a vast and sparsely populated territory," the journalist concluded in his address to the Italian leader. [link to tvzvezda.ru (secure)]
