11-0550 is a USAF C-37B executive transport jet, the military version of the Gulfstream 550.

You can see photos of the aircraft here - [link to www.jetphotos.com (secure)]

This aircraft carries no national insignia and is completely unmarked save for the aircraft's serial number.

In the past, the aircraft has been used to ferry US Generals and Admirals around the world. For a relatively small aircraft, the C-37B definitely has some legs.

In this case, I would suggest the aircraft was carrying USAF or USSF brass due to the pick up at Colorado Springs described below and it's later activities in the Southern Hemisphere...

Here's a short log of 11-0550's movements over the past week or so. The information is taken from the ADS-B data collated and displayed at adsbexchange.com.

You can follow along staring from the 15th of March - [link to globe.adsbexchange.com (secure)] Just expand the "History" menu and under "UTC day", hit the "next" button.

Day 1 - 15MAR2022: The aircraft leaves Joint Base Andrews in Maryland. ADS-B data has it headed for Springfield, Illinois.

Day 2 - 16MAR2022: The aircraft heads for Colorado Springs and lands at Peterson Air Force Base. Soon after, it takes off and heads for Alaska via Canada (obviously) and it lands at Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport.

Day 3 - 17MAR2022: The aircraft departs Anchorage and flies in a Great Circle route roughly southwest across the northern Pacific to Japan. It lands at Yokota Air Base near Fussa in Tokyo Prefecture.

Day 4 - 18MAR2022: The aircraft departs Yokota and heads for South Korea, where it lands at Kunsan Air Base.

Day 5 - 19MAR2022: The aircraft heads southeast, past Guam and down to Papua New Guinea, where it lands at the Lae-Nadzab Airport rather than the slightly more civilised Jackson's Field International Airport near the PNG capital, Port Moresby.

Day 6 - 20MAR2022: The aircraft departs PNG airspace and continues south, until it is feet dry over the coral sea coast near Mackay in Queensland, Australia. It continues to Sydney then makes a beeline for the Australian capital, Canberra.

Day 7 - 21MAR2022: Aircraft remains in Canberra, Australia

Day 8 - 22MAR2022: Aircraft remains in Canberra, Australia

Day 9 - 23MAR2022: the aircraft departs Royal Australian Air Force Base Fairbairn in Canberra and heads westwards. It lands at Royal Australian Air Force Base Edinburgh near Adelaide in South Australia.

Day 10 - 24MAR2022: Aircraft remains at RAAF Base Edinburgh

Day 11 - 25MAR2022: Aircraft departs RAAF Edinburgh and heads to the Northern Territory. Makes a pass over the Olgas and Uluru terrain features as well as the Joint Defence Facility Pine Gap, and it lands at the Alice Springs Airport.

Day 12 - 26MAR2022: The aircraft departs Alice Springs and lands at the US Hickam Air Force Base in Honolulu Hawaii.

Day 13 - 27MAR2022/28MAR2022: The aircraft departs Honolulu headed for CONUS. It lands at Peterson Air Force Base in Colorado Springs, where our tracking of it ceases.
