Let's guess. Many pro flat earth proponents have never flown. Have never used a pair of binoculars or telescope. Have not the vaguest understaning of maths physics etc. Or astronomy, or overall history.

Regarding my comment about other civilizations I of course dont know how wide spread knowledge was, and of course may be wrong about it.

No one "knew" the earth was round until they started sending rockets into space.

Literally NOTHING in this Earth defies the laws of physics. Everything can be explained, even if we don't know the formula or the words to describe it. So that's WHY I cannot wrap my mind around how a Flat Earther can believe there is a literal edge to this world... Do they believe the laws of physics and reality just disappear past an event horizon?

As i was riding home today and the sun was setting, there is a very tall building in my vicinity. so as the sun sets the light rays of the sun eventually get to the top on the building, but clouds are still illuminated by the sun set rays.

With the earth as globe its a simple explanation of how that is happening, i went back again half an hour to confirm the process.

Now i would except that flatearth-tards have a very complicated explanation for this event.

It would be nice if Dr Astro could weigh in here
