There is only one person that is going to gain from this....Ralph Nader.

His income comes from speaking engagements. He needs to keep his name before the public, in order to be popular.

He's pretty smart, really. He'll run with other people's money, and get free press too, which will ensure more speaking engagements.

Oh good. I was going to write him in anyway.

I know I don't look happy, but really soon as the shock wears off I will be ...just... well... you know... kind of.... unimpressed

Now, who in the hell would give Ralph Nader the financial backing to run as an Independent?

Nader is a great guy and he's help Americans a lot in earlier years. But his time to run for president is past. He's not electable. He's just going to muddy the waters.

LOL. My prediction is he'll get less than 1% of the vote.

I would enjoying seeing and hearing him in the debates, as he can raise issues that are legitimate but candidates are too fearful to say...but even if his ideas are best, I wouldn't vote for him this time.
Watch the PBS Bio of him, it showed how we mistakenly blamed him for Bush. Bush cheated in the election, and the Supreme Court lackeys backed him...end of story.

Nader is a closet republican, McCain has no chance of beating Obama outright so they put old boy Ralph in to steal votes.

'Consumer Advocate' - what a bizarre label to give someone when they announce a presidential run. I expected the news websites here in the UK to tag him as an 'Environmentalist Anti-War Nutjob' but I guess there is a different agenda this time around. If it means more Pearl Jam benefit concerts, I hope he stays in the race until November!

(02-19) 19:03 PST SAN FRANCISCO -- A San Francisco federal judge has taken the highly unusual step of ordering the shutdown of a Web site devoted to anonymous allegations of high-level wrongdoing after it posted documents purporting to describe offshore activities of a Swiss bank.

I thought of that. Nader sounded like he is on political steroids. I think he made his case that the people are fed up and want to change the establishment in Washington.

Ralph clearly has not seen the numbers of Dem's showing up at the polls. He is, actually I am not sure what he is did anyone even vote for him in 2004?

And I hope at some point there is a massive march in Washington. Give this country back to the people!!!!

And I get nauseated when I think of what we have to vote for now. Ron Paul may not have a chance but he is the spark that could get things in motion for real freedom and it's time to get the government off our backs and stop controlling our lives and invading our privacy. The corrupt politiians need to be cleaned out of government and cut the massive spending and restore the value of the dollar etc. etc.

Something happened to Nader. He went from being a consumer advocate who has made a real difference in the lives of Americans, to a soulless (look at his eyes, they are dead) self centered egotist. He also seems to be a completely rigged and strung puppet of TPTB.

He already has undone all the good he's ever done in the past.
I shudder to think what dirt TPTB dug up on him to twist him so thoroughly to "the Dark Side", or what sort of "Deal with the Devil" he may have struck.

How about a Ron Paul / Sonny Perdue ticket. Dump McCain, he's not qualified anyway (born in canal zone - NOT A NATURAL BORN)?

But then again, Hillary has been decided by BIG CORP, the election is a big fraud and the ceaseless, boring media coverage is a big distraction anyway.
