:rere23:  Russia's nuclear capability is much newer and more up to date than that of the US, whereas the US hasn't tested their stuff since the 1970s, have made no improvements, and have no idea whether they'll even work. This has been attested two in interviews given publicly the last few weeks by a couple different military analysts.
