Ukrainians have been dropping artillery on people of the Donbass region for over 8 years now. Ukrainians have tried to ban people from speaking Russian for a while now. I have read that the Ukrainians were massing just outside the Donbass region to attack and finally remove the rebels once and for all ..then Putin stepped in and said nope! And that why so many Ukrainians troops were encircled in eastern Ukraine. But who knows what's really happening over there.

I still struggle with Putin logic here though. The ethnic cleansing by Azov Nazis was evident right back in 2014.It is the reason the regions begged for Russian protection. Putin at that time was deaf to their cries. It felt back then like Putin wanted fuck all to do with them. And was actually hoping the problem would go away. Choosing to send some food aid but do nothing to antagonize US/NATO. I also think Putin had Motorola/Givi "Whacked"
