The BIG Problem We All Will Be Facing and It Isn't Oil Prices

Eggs and egg-laying bird industries now have a crinkle in them also.

No chickens, no eggs, no grains, no beef. Popcicles for everybody! High fructose corn syrup for us while the fed.gov enjoys their Beef Wellington Social Lunches with all the trimmings.

So most everything on the news in these last weeks has been about oil prices. The price of gas has a detrimental effect on everything since it is the primary energy source that fuels the economies of the world. Trucking does not happen without it and we all know this.

The Talking Heads keep this crisis front-and-center but the biggest issue facing us all is famine! If there is no food then it doesn't matter if gas is $.25 a gallon. The talking heads blame the Ukraine situation for the global shortage, but this crisis has been growing for some time now. Bad weather, broken trade deals, and high seed prices have been growing for a few years now.

Now let's pile on higher fertilizer prices and a fertilizer shortage. Farmers can't pay for it to grow crops, they can't pay the higher gas prices to seed, tend, and harvest the fields, and they certainly can't afford to buy feed grasses and grains for the livestock. It's a triple whammy!
