The scientists in Cambridge believe that they can do the same thing with other tissues in the body. The eventual aim is to develop treatments for age-related diseases such as diabetes, heart disease and neurological disorders. The technology is built on the techniques used to create Dolly the cloned sheep more than 25 years ago. [link to www.bbc.co.uk (secure)] Cells of the skin in vitro or the entire skin in vivo? |

They can laser off moles, give you a skin peel, do all sorts of stuff without injections or surgery to improve your skin. I saw a 60 yr old women who has been getting regular laser treatments, her skin is like a 30 year olds. You can also use Hydroluric acid, you can buy it anywhere. Don't buy the expensive stuff, it's a rip off. Tomfoolery |

Every now and then there are news articles like this that give the plebs false hope that anti aging tech is right around the corner (probably in hopes that you dont take care of yourself so that you rely on a tech that will never be available to you). 20 years ago they were on the verge of regrowing new teeth with stem cells. Yeah, right. |

Yeah, right. the sad thing always is... can they not make it happen or is it not profitable / against the common goal to release it? i remember when direct audio was a hip new technology. lasted pretty short until it left public domain and became weapon tech |
