I see this thread really took off.

Thank you to who ever was kind enough to 5* my thread. I know Cryptids aren’t everyone’s thing but to me they’re so fascinating. I spend at least an hour a day looking into peoples sightings and learning more about them.

what's the strangest most mysterious creature you've ever personally seen?

What the fuck did I just watch?

Well, about a decade ago when I was around 17 I saw a pale “glowing” white face out in the wooded back yard at my moms house. Almost shit myself and ran away. This what at a house that was very dark and strange. Walls would get banged on LOUDLY in the empty rooms when you’re alone. Your name would get called when you’re alone. People would come over and immediately ask to GTFO. I also found a ouija board in the garage, literally the only thing left in that house when we moved in. I do not mess with that kind of stuff.

Up until recently I’d had recurring nightmares that I was trapped in that house and demons were trying to “eat my soul”. Thank god that finally ended.

Not cryptid I know but that white face outside was the weirdest creature I’d ever seen. It had a huge head and no visible mouth.

I’ve been wondering what that was. I hate the website but I’m a member of all the cryptid R/ (site rhymes with “said it”) pages and that’s been making the rounds on all of them.

I love the Bigfoot & Dogman stories .... Only the real encounters.. I don't like the researchers stories...

The Goatman & Rake are scary but can't seem to find many stories on them.....

Where do you find these stories?

when i was about 5 or 6 years old.......i saw a kangaroo in the remote woods of north central wisconsin while on a camping/hunting outting.....
of course my family didnt believe me....but i insisted i knew what a kangaroo looked like and i saw it looking at us from behind the tree line....but then it was gone.....

for the next 30 years they teased me at every family get together Thanksgiving/Christmas and told every1 the story of the time i thought i saw a kangaroo in the woods......and for 30 years i told them all i know what i saw and i never backed down .....

then about 15 years ago i was at a bookstore and i found a big thick book on cryptozoology and sat down thumbing thru the chapters on bigfoot....loch ness....chupacabras......
then i came to a whole chapter on kangaroo sightings in wisconsin.....!!

there were newspaper articles going all the way back to the 1890's.....and a couple pages into the chapter was a black and white photograph of a kangaroo taken only about 30-40 miles away from my sighting around the same time.....

of course i bought the book and brought it with me to every family gathering and extracted apologies for all the mocking i endured over my lifetime from our rather large extended family......
