It seems to be that the tank was close enough to notice the blue arm bands. That was either a Russian tank or gross negligence by a Ukrainian tank. I don't see how a tank in communication with driver and gunner, and possibly another spotter, could make an error like that. Those guys had to have been noticeable for quite some time in that tank's sights.
