Internet access is really an essential service, like electricity or water.
Imagine them not providing internet or power or water to gay students, or poc students or female students.

Most college students rent their own space that means they pay for their own Internet or it comes with the rent so they are responsible for their own bills the university cannot touch their Internet

now if they have to use Internet at the University while in class they could always just get a hotspot off their phone this sounds like it’s for the very poor college student/kids who are having their school paid for Scholarships
