A while back, in 2015 (the timing is memorable for unrelated reasons), I shared an opinion piece from here on another forum about women that dress as sluts and the results of the attention they receive on account of it. At the time, my trees (my daughters), were 13 and 11 years old and it was a topic of interest to me because it frustrated me going with them to clothing stores and seeing the juniors' section full of slutwear.

As a father, it's conflicting to want to tell your daughters who are not even yet young women 'no' when it comes to how they want to present themselves.

The backlash I received from women was horrid. Lurkers made accounts just to tell me off for how dare I put effort to shape my daughters' self-image to be a respectable one when all I did was copy-paste an OP from here onto another forum with no input of my own.
