Spacex Hired by South Korea to Launch 1st Spy Satellite in 2023
South Korea hires SpaceX to launch five spy satellites by 2025

South Korea has signed a contract with SpaceX to launch five spy satellites by 2025, with the first launch on a Falcon 9 rocket by the end of 2023.

A spokeswoman for the Defense Acquisition Program Administration (DAPA) confirmed the deal April 11, saying the 2023 launch would deliver an 800-kilogram electro-optical infrared satellite to low Earth orbit.

Are they launching in South Korea or is Spacex leasing a launch pad at the Cape?

Doesn't seem like that's been determined yet. They may just ride along with other multi-purpose commercial launches. If that's the case, that would most likely be in the US.

Spacex has launch pads in California too.

I'm down in South Texas right now. Got a couple photos of the SpaceX facility from the top of Port Isabel lighthouse. We are going bay fishing tomorrow and I'll see if I can get some closer images.
