Reading the posts so far, I thought I was going to be the only one who found him obnoxious and not funny. So I'm not the only one...

Getting the jab is one thing, but hose that publicly tell others to get the jab deserve no sympathy. He got what he deserved.

‘Long illness’ can mean a variety of things, most of them aren’t necessarily being bed ridden.

He had an underlying heart condition. That, and his age, make him the perfect candidate to have a fatal reaction to that ‘vaxx.’

So anyone who died any time after taking the vax died due to the vax just like anyone who died after catching covid died of covid.

Just got off the phone with an old school comic. GG lived with him and his wife for several months when he was young and starting out. He said he talked with him a few weeks ago and GG said he was feeling okay, not great, but no other details.

He had Myotonic dystrophy

EVERY comedian has a version. It’s supposed to be filthy. The filthier, the better. It was a joke told backstage at comedy clubs for decades to entertain each other. EVERY comedian…even the ‘clean’ ones. It’s a right of passage.

If you’re going to condemn one of them, then condemn them all.

I, for one, support stand-up comedy as one of the last bastions of free speech. Understand what comedy is, and why human beings laugh. In essence, it is saying or doing something completely unexpected. In the proper setting of a comedy show, film, etc. where you are anticipating laughter, the reaction we know as laughter is because we are surprised. So, sometimes, comedy can come from attacking certain social norms or exposing taboos. Comedy is also subjective…especially if you let your own threshold of being ‘offended’ get crossed.

I saw him do stand-up at a Comedy Club here in the Charlotte area maybe 5-6 years ago. He looked like he was on death's doorstep. He came out in one of those leg-boot cast things and a bandage on his head. I thought it was a shtick, but it wasn't.

His appearance struck me so much that I literally chose him in a death-pool my brother and I do:

We each alternatively chose 20 people. Take the person's age at death and subtract it from 110. The 1st person to get to 100 wins.

It lasted over a few years...obviously the younger death's scored BIG...Godfried was one of my picks. However, I lost the bet (and $100) with the incredible pick by my brother of "Screech" from "Saved by the Bell"....who the HELL would've picked him?!

Gilbert Gottfried wanted the world to know that "Bob saget did not rape and murder a girl in 1990". Ha ha. One of the funniest lines ever mentioned at a roast.

And he had the DM2 version…primarily attacks the heart…but DM2 is noted in your link as ‘milder’ and usually not fatal. While not curable, it’s treatable.

My point being, he was still healthy enough to accept bookings.

Yet, that ‘vaxx’ severely stresses the cardiovascular system, and with his condition, likely lead to his death.

Doctors simply do NOT ‘officially’ link deaths and severe injuries to any vaccine. They point to whatever the underlying condition might be, and they stop right there. To do otherwise puts them at risk of ridicule, suspension, or even the loss of their medical license. This has been going on for years with childhood vaccines.
