Mom
[Something I wrote a family member tonight...]

"When you start really living for yourself:

Be patient with your mom.

Over the last number of years I have gotten to know her.

Be patient in all things ' mother '.

Be as patient with her as you are yourself. (If you don't what that means, than we're going to have to work on your inner-self. Don't let me forget)

Love her no matter what.

Trauma - as you directly know on multiple fronts - brings personality changes.

Don't expect to love her in the same ways as before the trauma. All of your traumas! Individually as well as familial.

Love her in who she is Becoming. Be very awestruck that she is YOUR mother. You won't have another one. And she won't stop changing until the day she passes.

If you can do this, you willl have loved her in all the ways you could have ever known."

Re: Mom
I think living your own truth is the highest service you can give anyone including mom.

Most art which rebels against mom states that mom wants you to to be average, normal and comfortable and stifles you through this nature.
