U.S. Federal Judge Overturns Biden’s Mask Mandate on Public Transportation

I just read the entire opinion. She hit them with a double whammy - CDC doesn't have the authority to mandate masks and, even if they did, they didn't follow the proper procedure for trying to implement the requirement.

She's a federal judge down inTampa, FL appointed by Trump.

She didn't really address whether masks work, but she did rip the CDC for granting so many exceptions to the rule, which undercut the "science" they were trying to rely on to require masks.

This is big and deserves a pin!!

This made my day! I booked my first flight in over two years to visit family for this upcoming weekend hoping that the mask mandate would expire on the 18th. I had a bad feeling they'd extend it, and sure enough they did, which pissed me off. This is amazing news! Let freedom ring!

Every little bit helps. On balance, tyranny is WAY ahead of liberty, but this is a tiny step in the right direction.

Better bring your mask. The DOJ will object and appeal. Until then, everything stands as is. The May 3rd mask expiration will come and go before this particular judge's ruling is decided on.

The MAGA side should immediately appeal this ruling to a MAGA-friendly Federal judge. That judge should them immediately accept the case and order that today’s ruling to vacate the mask mandate be kept in place during the appeal.

We need to start playing by their rules, not ours.
