Unvaxxed girlfriend is shedding hair; anyone else experience this?

Yep, I had Covid in August and around September/October I was losing a ton of hair.

Everytime I ran my hands through my hair, I remember my laptop would be covered in hairs and I genuinely thought I was going bald at 35.

Then around November/December I realized that it wasn't falling out anymore and by January my hair was 100% full again.

I had Covid around Christmas too, and yes I've noticed a lot of hair fall.

I've been taking biotin and drinking bone broth trying to reverse it. It stinks!

I heard it is temporary as well.

I had Covid last September and during the months after, I lost about half my hair. It finally stopped falling out and I expect to have a visible layer of fuzz in a few months.

This does happen to me periodically when I'm super stressed, but the covid hairloss was definitely the worst.

Yes, if someone has had COVid, a side effect is hair loss. It took me 6-7 months to return to normal. I started taking collagen and it has really helped. Many people I have spoken with said hair loss happened to them also, but everyone given time, gets better. Please get her to add collagen to her diet.

Happened to me as well, started around Nov. And ended about 4-5 weeks later. Ok now no more loss.

I know several people with hair loss from having COVID.

However, hair loss can come from a very stressful event about 2 months prior (takes that long for the hair to die and begin to fall), did something very stressful happen a couple months ago?

It can also be a hormone issue.

I thought that it was only the VACCINATED who were having issues.

Has she recently been in close contact with someone vaxxed????

Took nac and other supplements and all's fine.

I'm not concerned about going bald...I have super thick hair. But it is unsettling to wash it and find so much hair, or running my hands through it and having lots of hair come off in my hand.

I had significant hair loss a few months after Covid. My daughters experienced the same and both needed to cut their hair short. They lost at least half if not more.

It took about 6 months to start regrowing. Taking hair growth nutrients made a difference one of them, her hair is returning much thicker than her sister

I wont tell her this nor the Menopause or she will be even more worried.
