Quoting: Anonymous Coward 81524493 Has she recently been in close contact with someone vaxxed???? Vaxxed can spread to unvaxxed through mRNA shedding. The heat from the fever from covid kills hair follicles |

Still dealing with lack of taste/smell. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 80065674 Not vaxxed. Alpha lipoic acid is said to help with sense of smell. And smell essential oils. I’ve been doing the smell training with essential oils but not working. Will check out Alpha lipoic acid. TY! |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 79490035 Everytime I ran my hands through my hair, I remember my laptop would be covered in hairs and I genuinely thought I was going bald at 35. Then around November/December I realized that it wasn't falling out anymore and by January my hair was 100% full again. I heard it is temporary as well. She is freaking out. Only 34 and didnt expect hair loss Trying to comfort her. Tell her she is more beautiful than jada pinkett smith. |

If the body undergoes any kind of stress it puts a certain number of hair follicles immediately into a resting phase. Around three months after the stressful event, hair will start to shed. It does grow back. I lost about a third of my hair several months after my dog died suddenly. The body wants to conserve nutrients for vital organs and not hair. It does grow back. It took about 6 months for me. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 82891447 United States 04/18/2022 08:11 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Whats interesting is that in some cases, excessive hair loss is a symptom of snake envenomation. Of the 816 participants who were identified as ever snakebite victims, 112 (13.7%) presented with at least one snakebite-related long-term health complication. Among them, “migraine-like-syndrome” characterized by headache vertigo, and photosensitivity to sunlight was found in 46 (5.6%); musculoskeletal disorders such as pain, local swelling, muscle weakness, deformities, contractures, and amputations were found in 26 (3.2%); visual impairment in 21 (2.6%); acute kidney injury in 4 (0.5%); skin blisters at the bite site in 5 (0.6%); psychological distress in 2 (0.2%); hemiplegia in 1 (0.1%); right-side facial nerve palsy in 1 (0.1%); paresthesia over bite site in 1 (0.1%); generalized shivering in 1 (0.1%); and chronic nonhealing ulcer in 1 (0.1%). Interestingly, 31 (3.8%) reported nonspecific somatic symptoms such as abdominal colic, chest tightness, wheezing, receding gums, excessive hair loss, and lassitude with body aches following the bite. The average duration of symptoms since snakebite was 12.7 years (SD=11.7). In fact, all of those symptoms above I've seen attributed to covid and jabs. Literally all of it lol. Quoting: LadyJaneSmith However, hair loss can come from a very stressful event about 2 months prior (takes that long for the hair to die and begin to fall), did something very stressful happen a couple months ago? It can also be a hormone issue. Just normal work stress for her, nothing more than normal. It started a week or so ago. Covid hit her bad as she has asthma but she got over it like the rest of us minus still some loss of smell and taste. If she’s 34 and shedding only a week, she’s stressing for nothing. I shed every spring, usually may, and it scared the shit outta me the first 2 times. In a week or so, she’ll see a slow down I bet. |
