If you read the comments on the page of that video, it's easy to see that the investors care not for the residents of Ukraine, only the money and profits they are certain to reap, once resource extraction begins in earnest. Items such as gold, coal, oil, natural gas, uranium, titanium, manganese, and the list goes on. Some of the comments were stating that the mineral resources were the real reason why Putin invaded Ukraine, and why there is such a strong willingness to defend the country against Russian aggression. Clearly they want all those profits for themselves.

I don't think he realizes that he's telling this to the banks he thinks are in league with him.

Banks make their money by lending it out, and getting a return on their investment. He's telling them that he wants them out of business too, with just him and his few, select buddies left standing.
