Russia is playing suicide by cop.

It's obvious that they are desperate and seeking attention.

Russias best move is away from conflict and towards normalicy and status quo.

Any moran can see this and so can everyday Russians.

Putin's days are numbered.

With all of the reports of new weapons, aircraft and artillery being (apparently successfully) provided to the Ukrainian forces, not to mention the billions of funds and even the talk of sending US troops in, I am convinced that the west's goal is (and has always been) to provoke Russia into be the side that starts a direct conflict. I believe the main goal in the end is to evoke Article 5 and to take Russia and its natural resources.

This is where they are either retards, or severely miscalculate Russia. If Putin thinks that war is 100% inevitable, he will strike first. They have had decades of NATO encroachment to wargame this out. If they strike first, it will be nuclear, and it will be with such overwhelming destructive force and precision that the west will have little if any ability to retaliate. Provoking Russia to be the one to throw the first punch is suicide.

Contrary to popular belief, a nuclear war can be won if your adversary is incapable of a response. It would take one hell of a precision war plan, but it's not impossible.

What is frustrating is that the general populace is so brainwashed that there is really nothing that any of us can do but pray that these fucks aren't as stupid as I think they are.

I think almost everyone is in denial that this will be the outcome. Those of us that grew up during the cold War know how horrifying this is. Millennials and beyond have NO clue.
