I love GT but I disagree with him on an important point. I believe we will be defending against looters, marauders, etc…not an invading military force.

I do agree to shoot first.

Our old saying in the Marine Corps was “If it moves kill it. If it doesn’t move, paint it.”

I am in the process of building my bugout/survival pack. Any suggestion for items that He may have missed or got wrong?

Yes but what is your mission? How many day bug out? My bugout is over 30 days and 320 miles away. I’m specifically talking on foot worst case scenario. So my bugout may be different than yours. I’m trying to get home, not going willynilly into the woods.

My total kit comes in at 65 lbs and that’s sans food and water.
And that’s after paring down from 85 lbs.

ThePrepared.com is a great resource.
