I am a woman... when I had periods long ago now.. the blood clots fast in those too. LOOK. Blood with normal clotting factors will clot as it leaves the body too. If you have a clotting disorder or are on some meds it may take a bit longer... I have such a clotting disorder that is genetic. And closely related to hemophilia in some of its genetics.

I had a hysterectomy long ago because I clot so slow and I was tired of the constant anemia from menstruating.. so I got the thing out.. and a good thing that was as I had a cancer in it. I was driven by an inner impulse to go see the doctor who was my OB GYN and had delivered my children. I listened up and I walk free of uterine cancer for having the thing out... and that caner would have caused more bleeding.
Even with the clotting issue.. slow clotting.. I had clots in my monthly bleeding so don't try to pull that one on me.
