Lipids are few in wood.

Added on April 22, 2022: Why does the above matter?
Nasa's Mars rover Curiosity used wet chemistry in order to find organics in the samples drilled from Mars. With the wet chemistry experiments, Nasa scientists found diverse, large and complex organic molecules, but no fatty acids (which are the bases of lipids) were found. Why so? Because wood contains very few lipids. The wet chemistry experiments also reveal the chemistry of wood.
