I don't think WW3 is far off either.

You don't spend 10s Billions on anti/Tank/Ship missiles and send in so much heavy weaponry and armour for no return.

They want Russia to go for the "Death by Cop " option, come out swinging against US/NATO.

I think they have badly judged how this war will evolve.

I see Russia using Nukes right from the off on DC/London. Rather than trying to fight a conventional war at a serious disadvantage given the disparity in conventional weaponry.
