That's more fear mongling nonsense, yo. The asians, they have been wearing masks for years and years as part of their regular response to colds and pollution. No problems there.

The study referred to in this article doesn't even mention masks though. Most of The MSM articles and studies on the topic of plastic particles found in blood and the lungs mostly blame bottled water, airborne plastic etc. Absolutely no mention of the masks we've been wearing for hours en end.

Furthermore, if you are concerned, pick a mask that doesn't contain those sorts of artificial fibers. Don't cheap out and use the junk-food version of a mask!

I’m happy to be able to say that my children have never worn masks. Well, my daughter did once for an allergy appointment. The other two never never had one on at all. I wore mine into the grocery store once, but I removed it after 10-15 minutes because it was annoying me. I never put another one on again after that.

The door greeters would tell us to put them on and we would just ignore them as if they weren’t there. Only a few customers made comments or confronted us, but my husband and I would quickly shut them down. Aside from that, we were left alone.

The most shocking thing of all was to see how EVERYONE was so quick to comply.

Hum, yeah. It's a long paper so if you could copy and paste the part that says the particles are from masks, I am sure you would not violate any copyright laws.

From what I read, it stated the particles were from the environment not specifically masks. Also, a small sample size, 11 patients, was used.

I am confused as to how you made the assumption the MP are from masks?

The article just stated that the plastics found in masks were found in the lungs.

Like you say it doesn’t say masks caused this - but you can assume it surely?

The clothing you wear is made of these plastics.
The bed you sleep on is made with these plastics.
The pillow you sleep on is filled with these plastics.
The couch you sit on is filled/covered with these plastics.
The carpet you walk on and sweep is made of these plastics.

The mask is not the only source.
I know people who work making batting/filler/materials that are pure PP. That dust flies in the air all day. None of them or their coworkers have any debilitating issues yet and have been working 5-10 years around it.

There are hundreds of thousands if not millions that wear masks every day and have for decades. Health care, food industry, chemical industry just to name a few. I work a mask every day for 5 years in a facility that used fumed silica. All day every day. That was thirty years ago and my lungs are still fine.

Nothing burger.
