If you could impart up to three messages to a younger version of your self, or to someone looking for your advice. WHat would they be?


1. Invest in yourself - learning, skills, experiences.
2. Travel the world - get out and experience as much of the world with a backpack for as long as possible.
3. Don’t worry about things you can not change
4. Don’t be afraid of failure.

Walk softly but carry a big stick

Take care of your teeth.

Watch after your elderly loved ones. Even if they insist they are ok. Be in their life.

Tell the people you love-that you love them, a lot.

Hugs your kids more.

Feel the pain then let it go. Don’t let it consume you.

Always wear clean undies.

Travel as much as you can while you can.

You teach people how to treat you.

Wear comfortable shoes.

Always keep emergency supplies in your car. (This has saved my butt a few times)

3.and spend more time with the kids

1) Partner does anything weird enought you wouldnt tell friends, family: leave. It will not get better.

2) Take care of your elderly parents and family first, other things later.

3) Stay in one spot and make friends as many as you can. Give little gifts and treats to neighbors and co workers.

2. Forgive your parents for not being perfect, forgive your friends for sometimes being assholes, forgive yourself for also being an asshole.
3. Learn to quite your mind.
4. Don't always follow the rules. LOL

1) If your parents are willing to pay for your college tuition, ask for a house instead.
2) Never be unemployed.
3) Reconsider your political views.
4) Get treatment.
