My grandmother just turned 80 today, (well yesterday, I just haven't gone to bed yet, lol) and she neither looks or acts it. Her sister, my great aunt, is 86 and does more than I do. I am not kidding! |

You're right, no one dies from mental illness at 76 BUT NO ONE DIES FROM "OLD AGE" AT 76 EITHER. What planet do you live on? This is her singing THIS year and she's looking better than her daughter!: If you really believe that she simply died from old age at age 76 and that's the answer, then you're the dumb one. Something else obviously happened here. It could have been dementia (and, for whatever reason, they didn't want to say that) but considering she stood on that stage looking fairly coherent THIS YEAR and it's only May, it's unlikely. Whatever it is, it wasn't just "old age" that killed Naomi Judd. I hate to say it but at that performance a couple weeks back she did look a little out of it...kind of spaced out at times. But if it was suicide I can relate unfortunately. This May 3rd it will be 10 years since my older and only brother killed himself. It is uncharted territory. The "what ifs.." or the "if I had only.." will drive you insane if you let it. Sending prayers their way.  |
