Exactly, they talk about the pandemic in the media here so it's kind of beaten into everyone's head. People are still walking around or driving cars and motorcycles wearing masks. Lady un the elevator yesterday, no mask but had her face covered with her shirt.

We've got a huge family, my wife has 11 siblings, we know a lot of people both friends and family. It's cringeworthy but I do understand her using "pandemic" because it's been relentlessly used here. But the other day my wife said something about the pandemic and I asked "what pandemic, do you know one person that has gotten sick and been hospitalized or died?" Neither of us know anyone that's gotten sick, a niece almost died after her booster shot though.
